Day 1: Islamabad to Jahaz Banda

Our adventure begins at midnight as we pick up participants from Islamabad and start our journey towards Kumrat Valley via Chakdara, Lower Dir, and Thal.
We'll make a few stops along the way for breakfast, prayers, tea, and stretching our legs. After breakfast in Lower Dir, we'll continue our scenic drive through the beautiful valleys of Upper Dir until we reach Thal Bazaar.
Here, we'll take a short break, enjoy lunch, grab any last-minute snacks, and get ready for the exciting part of the journey.
From Thal, we'll switch to 4x4 jeeps and begin a thrilling off-road ride towards Takki Top. This jeep track takes around 2 hours and offers incredible mountain views throughout the journey.
Once we reach Takki Top, it's time to start our hike to Jahaz Banda.
The first part of the trail is a bit steep and will definitely get your heart pumping, but don't worry—it is completely doable. Just take your time, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and keep looking around because the views are absolutely worth it. The hike usually takes around 2 to 2.5 hours.
As you get closer to Jahaz Banda, you'll be welcomed by endless green meadows, cool mountain breeze, and scenery that looks straight out of a dream.
After reaching our hotel, it's time to relax, enjoy dinner, share stories with fellow travelers, and get some well-deserved rest.
Important Note About Hotels: Jahaz Banda is a very remote destination and remains open for only a few months every year. Hotels here are simple and basic. Rooms have beds, attached washrooms, and basic facilities, but don't expect luxury. The real luxury here is waking up in the middle of one of Pakistan's most beautiful mountain meadows.

Day 2: The Magical Katora Lake

Wake up to fresh mountain air and stunning views all around you.
After breakfast, we'll head towards the famous Katora Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in Pakistan and the main highlight of this trip.
The hike to Katora Lake takes around 2 hours.
The first 45 minutes are easy, peaceful, and full of beautiful scenery. You'll pass through green meadows, flowing streams, and breathtaking landscapes before reaching Mini Katora Lake.
From here, you can cross the lake using local boats and continue towards the main lake.
The remaining hike takes about 1 hour and 15 to 20 minutes. As you gain height, the views become more dramatic with every step.
And then comes the moment you've been waiting for...
A stunning turquoise lake surrounded by giant mountains and untouched wilderness. The view is so beautiful that you'll probably forget how tired your legs are.
Spend plenty of time here taking photos, enjoying the scenery, relaxing by the lake, and simply appreciating nature at its finest.
After spending quality time at the lake, we'll hike back to Jahaz Banda.

Day 3: Kund Banda Waterfall & Journey Back Home

Today we'll wake up early, right after Fajr prayer, for one final adventure.
We'll start a short hike towards Kund Banda, a hidden gem that many travelers end up loving even more than the famous spots.
A 25-minute downhill walk will bring us to the beautiful Kund Banda Meadows. Crystal-clear streams, green landscapes, and peaceful surroundings make this place feel truly magical.
A little further ahead lies the famous Kund Banda Waterfall, a place you've probably already seen all over social media.
The sound of rushing water, the cool breeze, and the stunning scenery make it the perfect place to spend a peaceful morning before heading back.
After exploring the area, we'll return to the hotel for breakfast.
Then it's time to say goodbye to Jahaz Banda and begin our hike back to Takki Top, carrying unforgettable memories of the beautiful meadows, waterfalls, and mountain views we've experienced over the past few days.
Upon reaching Takki Top, we'll board our jeeps for the ride back to Thal. From Thal, we'll transfer to our vehicle and begin the journey back to Islamabad. Sit back, relax, share your favorite moments from the trip, and enjoy the scenic drive home.
We'll arrive back with tired legs, hundreds of photos, new friends, and memories that will stay with us for years.

Cancellations & Refunds

Non-Refundable: No refunds, but payments can be redeemed for a future trip within one year.
Cancellation Timeframe:
- 7+ Days Before Departure: Full redemption.
- 3–7 Days Before Departure: 30% cancellation fee applies; 70% redeemable.
- Within 3 Days: No refunds or redemption.
